French Directoire Period Armoire Late 18th Century

A late 18th century, directoire period, French armoire. Circa 1790. This pretty pine armoire is a very dainty size and exhibits very typical provincial Directoire fluted decoration. The perfect piece of furniture for hiding that ugly flat screen television ! The doors can be left open but also lift off their hinges with great ease to allow access. The armoire is over 200 years old and it is showing the ravages of time, traces of worm , wear etc all adding to it's rustic appeal and character - priced accordingly.
