Large Painted Louis 16 Style Trumeau

A large and extremely beautiful, late 19th century painted trumeau in the Louis 16 style. Delicately carved birds, basket and floral garlands. This mirror has a glorious aged patina with a layer of late 19th century ivory coloured paint gently flaking away to expose the earlier dove grey, original paint finish beneath.The sectioned mirrored glass is original. An absolute treasure to adorn a discerning interior.
