A Provençale Painted and Marble Buffet

A pretty Provençale buffet or washstand dating from the late 19th/ early 20th centuries. Layers of decorative paint are distinguishable beneath it's most recent dove grey incarnation, most probably applied in the early 20th century. Original marble top. A very characterful buffet for an intimate dining space or a pretty bathroom or bedroom piece.
