The height of Gothic chic - this extraordinary 19th century ebonised ecclesiastical cabinet hails from Northern Spain. The cabinet is exquisitely crafted, carved pine with an original ebonised finish. A dark red background has been applied to offset the fretwork decoration. Brimming with Gothic motif, the spindle turnings and curvaceous arches reach skyward accentuating the elegant height and suggesting celestial aspiration. The angled sides include secreted drawers and cupboards. The mirrored glass is original. This piece is evocative, highly decorative and would grace any discerning interior.
